This special shirt is to commemorate the birth of Kelly Nolte, the creator of Time-ZoneLabs, AND the year of 11 nuclear test shots at the Nevada Test Site called Operation Upshot-Knothole. These tests began just 3 days before Kelly was born and continued every few days for a couple of weeks after. Newspaper coverage of these blasts was extensive, and if you look at U.S. newspapers from the time period, almost every paper has information about them - probably even your hometown.
